Services: Demolition, Underpinning, Earthwork, & Utilities
At first glance, the project looks simple enough: a building addition, parking lot, retaining wall, and ponds. But the real challenges are hidden below the surface — a 30-foot-deep soil correction, wetland protections, groundwater management, structural demolition, new utility installation, underpinning work, and a 40,000-SF stormwater system, all of which had to be handled while the facility stayed fully operational.
Getting this far took more than a good plan. Careful sequencing aligned each milestone with actual site conditions, and daily progress relied on close, consistent coordination between Miller Bros and Knutson teams. Despite long hours and tough conditions, the crews adapted with smart, deliberate decisions at every turn.
