This 170-unit senior apartment project took a design-build approach to tackle an active water table and utility installation across a protected wetland. Miller Bros collaborated with the design team and general contractor to implement a lateral flow cut-off system, redirecting subsurface water and protecting critical site elements.
To enhance long-term resilience, the building design incorporated a robust drainage system, including a herringbone-patterned trench drain, foundation drainage, and a permanent lateral flow cut-off trench.
